· Body, bonnet, disc, and gland are made of ductile iron.
· Triple O-ring sealing.
· Stainless steel stem, bronze thrust ring, and disc nut.
· Internal and external epoxy resin powder coating.
Gate valves are typically used as shut-off valves in pipeline systems and are widely applied in piping systems for potable water, water supply and drainage, wastewater treatment, irrigation, HVAC, fire protection, as well as in industrial settings such as chemical and energy sectors.
Product Features:
1. Material: Ductile Iron QT 450-10
The valve body, bonnet, disc, handwheel, and gland are all made of ductile iron, offering high strength and corrosion resistance.
2. Triple O-ring Seals
The lower O-ring isolates the thrust ring wear area from the valve body's water passage. The upper two O-rings are replaceable while the valve is under pressure during operation.
3. Stainless Steel Stem, Bronze Thrust Ring, and Bronze Disc Nut
The stem, thrust ring, and disc nut, designed by Mike Valves, have undergone extensive long-term testing, demonstrating superior strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
4. Epoxy Resin Powder Coating
Both the internal and external surfaces of the valve are coated with epoxy resin powder, compliant with ANSI/AWWA C550 standards, ensuring reliable corrosion protection.
5. 1000-cycle Seat Life Test
The gate valve seat can withstand 1000 open-close cycles under full open-full close testing at a rate not exceeding 6 cycles per minute.
